This poster is inspired by the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House, a show I highly recommend. Designing a poster for this series allowed me to embed subtle narrative details that resonate with viewers who have experienced the story, while remaining non-spoiling for those who haven’t.

Each element in the composition hints at a deeper layer of the characters’ arcs: the eldest sister raises a wine glass adorned with a ring, the second sister wears gloves yet reaches out to hold hands with her childhood self, two fathers appear as a reflection of shifting timelines, and the little ghost girl clutches a purple teacup. Meanwhile, the young brother’s gaze is fixed on the mysterious “clock man.” These visual cues serve as hidden threads—recognizable to fans of the series—creating an additional layer of engagement between the artwork and the audience.
